A Waterbury man accused of fatally shooting his sister’s boyfriend in July was captured Wednesday by U.S. Marshals in Orlando, Florida.
Ramon Ocasio, 35, was held in lieu of $2 million bond while Waterbury detectives coordinate his extradition back to Connecticut to face charges of murder, criminal use of a weapon and illegal discharge of a weapon, police said.
Investigators believe Ocasio shot and killed 48-year-old William Charles David the afternoon of July 13 during a confrontation with David after he and his girlfriend, Ocasio’s sister, had an argument at their John Street apartment, Lt. David Silverio said.
