A Waterbury man was murdered early Saturday morning during an argument with another driver after they narrowly avoided a car crash on Sperry Street.
Shawn Delacruz, 23, was stabbed in the torso during the torso during the fight and dropped off at Waterbury Hospital by other passengers in his car, police said. He was rushed into emergency surgery but was pronounced dead.
Investigators believe Delacruz was driving with three other people at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday along Sperry Street when he was almost involved in a crash with a vehicle traveling west on Johnson Street, Lt. David Silverio said.
