When Team USA women’s basketball broke camp this week, they headed north from Columbia, SC with a roster of 15. Of the 15 players, four of them have ties to the UConn Huskies women’s basketball program with Napheesa Collier still having her senior season to go.
Collier, along with Oregon Ducks junior Sabrina Ionescu, were the only two college players to survive the initial cuts. With the WNBA Finals getting ready to start on Friday night, there’s a chance the final roster of 12 will look a lot different than current roster right now.
