At Geno Auriemma’s “Fore the Kids” Charity Golf Tournament on June 25, UConn Huskies women’s basketball rising freshmen Olivia Nelson-Ododa and Christyn Williams talked with the local media in an all encompassing interview.
Nelson-Ododa talked about her transition to the Division I level, her recovery from her knee injury, her dunking abilities and the advice she’s received from her sister-in-law, Dearica Hamby, who plays in the WNBA for the Las Vegas Aces.
Willams discussed her transition to the Division I level, how this is the first time she’s ever lifted weights and was very confident about UConn not repeating what happened at the end of last year and winning this years’ NCAA Championship.
