Wallingford police initially were responding to a domestic assault report when a man barricaded himself inside the home, pointed a gun outside a window and then took off from a back door Wednesday evening.
Christopher Poach, 38, was arrested and charged with first degree reckless endangerment, second degree threatening, third degree assault, second degree breach of peace and seven other charges.
Police were first called to Poach’s residence after a complaint that he threatened to kill, “sparked a taser at the victim in an intimidating manner, and alluded to shooting the victim in the head. During the incident, Poach attempted to restrain the victim from leaving and assaulted the victim,” police said.
