Connecticut will host a one-day career school fair virtually Wednesday as an opportunity for residents to learn more about jobs that don’t require four-year degrees.
Between 9 a.m., and 4 p.m., over 25 occupational schools will explain their programs and career paths, as well as go over admission requirements, financial aid and any other questions that come up.
The career school fair is meant to provide opportunity within growing job fields that “require specialized training,” Gov Ned Lamont said in a press release.
“To help meet this demand, we put together CareerConn--a one-stop opportunity that connects Connecticut students and career seekers to occupational schools,” Lamont said.
