Vernon police are investigating a motor vehicle collision that left two people with serious injuries Tuesday morning.
Police said the crash occurred about 9:30 a.mn. at 360 Talcottville Road (Route 83).The crash involved a Ford Fusion and Pontiac Bonneville.
Police said the adult male driver of the Fusion sustained serious injuries and was transported to Hartford Hospital. A juvenile passenger in the Fusion was also injured and brought to Hartford Hospital, police said.
The adult male operator of the Pontiac was brought to Saint Francis Hospital with serious injuries. None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening injuries and all are presently listed in stable condition, police said.
