With just two practices and one shootaround, the USA Olympic Women's Basketball team took to the hardwood at USC on Monday night to take on the USA Select Team. The limited practice time was evident early on as the Olympic team got off to a slow start.
But the Olympic team used a 26-13 at the end of the second quarter to pull ahead and then fought through a late run by the Select team to win 88-84 at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, CA.
Former UConn Husky Maya Moore along with Elena Delle Donne led a balanced Olympic team attack with 11 points each.
