After going 5-4-0 in conference play en route to the fifth seed in the upcoming American Athletic Conference Tournament, three UConn women’s soccer players were honored by the conference for their play in the regular season.
Junior Vivien Beil was named to the All-Conference Second Team after leading the Huskies with a team-leading 16 points on five goals and six assists. In the regular season finale against Temple, Beil netted a pair of goals including the game-winner with just 2:49 remaining.
Many of Beil’s assists went to freshman Kess Elmore, who was named to the All-Rookie team.
