For the first time since the 2013-14 season, UConn women’s basketball and Notre Dame won’t face-off in the regular season. On Monday, the school announced that Huskies’ game against the Fighting Irish will be postponed because Notre Dame needs “to restructure its schedule” due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Last year, UConn extended its series with Notre Dame for four years through the 2023-24 season. That agreement has now been pushed back a year and will continue through the 2024-25 season. The Huskies will host in 2021-22 and 2023-24 and will make the return trip to South Bend, Indiana in 2022-23 and 2024-25.
