The bracket for the 2018 Paradise Jam was announced today and the UConn women’s basketball team will play in the Reef Division with Ole Miss, Purdue and St. John’s. The Huskies have played in the Paradise Jam in 2007 and 2012, winning the division title both times. They are 99-38 all-time in regular season tournaments and have not lost in one since 1992.
Based on its draw for the tournament, it is unlikely UConn’s streak will end in the Virgin Islands — despite the departure of seniors Kia Nurse and Gabby Williams along with Azura Stevens. Ole Miss, their first opponent on Nov.
