UConn women’s basketball walk-on guard Autumn Chassion will transfer from the program, the school announced on Monday.
“Autumn is a really bright person and has a great future ahead of her,” Geno Auriemma said in a release. “We wish Autumn and her family the best as she continues her collegiate career.”
“I would like to thank UConn for accepting me, taking me in and allowing me to play the game I love,” Chassion said.
Chassion scored eight points in eight games during her freshman season with the Huskies. She did not play after Feb. 5 due to an undisclosed injury.
