Continuing with program tradition, the UConn women’s basketball team will travel to Missouri on Dec. 4 to face the St. Louis University Bilikens next season for Napheesa Collier’s homecoming game. The O’Fallon, Missouri native lived in Jefferson City for much of her life before moving to St. Louis as a sophomore in high school.
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, head coach Geno Auriemma promised Collier a home game when she signed with the Huskies.
“We’ve been anticipating this for a long time,” Collier’s father Gamal told the Post-Dispatch. “We knew from the start she would have this game.
