UConn women’s basketball will have a chance to avenge its sole regular season loss from last year. The Huskies will open the 2021-22 campaign against the Arkansas Razorbacks at home on Nov. 14. The location (ie. XL Center vs. Gampel Pavilion), tip time and TV information will be announced later.
UConn is 1-1 all-time against Arkansas. The Huskies earned a 100-64 win, ironically also on Nov. 14 but back in 1998. The Razorbacks won the matchup last season, 90-87.
Although UConn has reached the NCAA limit of 30 games on its schedule, the NCAA will allow all women’s basketball teams to play 31 games in 2021-22.
