UConn women’s basketball rolled over the Tulane Green Wave on Wednesday night, facing little resistance in a 74-31 win.
For the first time in 14 games, Olivia Nelson-Ododa recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. It’s her sixth of the season and her first since the Huskies’ win over Oklahoma before Christmas. Walker and Makurat both led the team with 18 points each while the freshman record five assists and five rebounds as well.
Defensively, UConn made life miserable for Tulane, limiting the Green Wave to 31 points — the fewest points the Huskies have allowed this season — on 20 percent shooting.
