Geno Auriemma will have a spot to fill on his staff for next season as assistant coach Marisa Moseley will become the new head coach at Boston University. Moseley played for the Terriers from 2000-04, helping the team to a 2003 America East championship and the program’s sole NCAA Tournament appearance.
“We are going to miss Marisa,” Auriemma said. “She has made a lasting impact on our program and in the hearts of our coaches and players. I will miss her personally as a coach and more as a friend. Congrats to Marisa and BU.”
Moseley joined the Huskies’ staff in 2009 after spending two years in the same position at Minnesota.
