In just a week, UConn women’s basketball has already doubled their 2020 recruiting class from the previous year’s. On Monday, Croatian point guard Nika Muhl announced her commitment to the Huskies.
UConn joined the recruiting process late, first showing interest in Muhl a couple months ago. She chose the Huskies over Louisville, Oregon, Ohio State and USF.
Listed at 5-foot-10, Muhl describes herself as a pass-first point guard.
“I think I’m pretty unselfish, sometimes even too much, and I really think I’m good at making other people around me better,” she said at the Final Four in Tampa.
