While UConn was picked to win its first two games of the season by Football Study Hall's F+/ rating projections, they are not so kind this week, as the Huskies are projected to lose by 28.7 points. If that held true, UConn wouldn't even cover the spread.
I"m skeptical of this rating, because I'm not sure if Missouri will score 28 points total. Those projections still take last year's data into account, so hopefully we see a better UConn team on the field against Missouri than the computers will expect.
In more sunny news, in case you've been living under a rock (or don't check this site and/or Twitter every day), the Huskies earned a big verbal commitment from in-state quarterback Jay Rose.
