Sure, summer just started, and fall feels like an eon away. But lets talk some footy, because the UConn men’s soccer team just released its fall 2019 schedule.
At first glance, it doesn’t offer the firepower of last year’s slate, which featured national powerhouses Indiana and Notre Dame. However, the 2019 schedule does feature five teams that made the NCAA tournament last season: Rhode Island, UCF, SMU, Rider, and Syracuse. Head coach Ray Reid called the schedule “challenging” in the team’s release.
The Goal Patrol will have eight regular-season home games to flex their muscles, as well as a battle against Yale for in-state bragging rights.
