UConn men’s hockey has been cleared to return to action and will play two games against the UNH Wildcats on Jan. 15 and 16, the school announced on Tuesday.
The Huskies paused all team activities last Wednesday after a member of the program tested positive for COVID-19. However, continuous testing revealed it to be a false positive. Since the team has continued to test negative, medical personnel have allowed UConn to resume play.
Now, the Huskies will prepare for their third and fourth straight game against UNH. UConn will host the Wildcats on Friday, Jan.
