UConn men’s basketball’s Brendan Adams enters transfer portal

After finishing his degree in three years, guard Brendan Adams has entered the transfer portal as a grad transfer, he announced on Twitter.

The junior has two years of eligibility remaining for wherever he goes thanks to the NCAA’s decision to grant all winter athletes a free year this season. He will graduate in May with a degree in economics.

Adams was head coach Dan Hurley’s first recruit at UConn after originally committing to play for him at URI.

This season he averaged 4.5 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists in inconsistent minutes over 16 games this season.
