The UConn men’s basketball team received more bad news this week after junior guard Matt Garry is now out for the season with an ACL and meniscus tear, according to the New Haven Register’s David Borges.
The injury happened some time in the last “week or so,” Borges said.
The team has not made any official announcement about the injury yet.
Garry, a Southington, Connecticut native, began his UConn career as a student manager due to a schedule conflict despite making the roster his freshman year. He then joined the team as a preferred walk-on in the spring of 2019.
