Dan Hurley’s UConn staff is now in place as Kenya Hunter was named the Huskies’ final assistant coach. Hunter has 16 years of Division I coaching experience, with the last five years coming at Nebraska.
“Kenya has tremendous experience in some high-level programs,” Hurley said in the press release. “He’s very well-respected not only as a strong recruiter, but an extremely knowledgeable coach on the floor. I’m very happy to add him to what I believe is an outstanding staff.”
He is the second coach on the staff to join UConn from a Big Ten school, joining Kimani Young, who was previously at Minnesota.
