The UConn men’s basketball team got some bad news on Friday morning as it was announced that Jalen Adams will miss 4-6 weeks with a grade 2 sprain of his MCL. Adams was injured six minutes into the loss versus Temple on Wednesday night.
According to the release, Adams underwent an MRI on Thursday afternoon which confirmed the original diagnosis. He will begin treatment immediately.
Based on the timeline of Adams’ recovery, he could be back in time to participate in the American Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament in Memphis that begins on March 14 if things go well.
