UConn Men’s Basketball Hires Raphael Chillious as Assistant Coach

Multiple sources are reporting that Kevin Ollie will be hiring former University of Washington associate head coach Raphael Chillious for the role vacated by the removal of Glen Miller.

Chillious was promoted to the AHC role for Lorenzo Romar at UW last year. He first joined his staff in 2009 and was in his second stint with the program before Romar was fired after this past season.

“Raphael is one of the top assistant coaches in the country, and while he has a great reputation as a recruiter, he is much more than that,” said Romar.
