UConn Huskies men’s basketball forward Eric Cobb has been suspended indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team, as first reported by Storrs Central and later confirmed by the university in a statement.
Cobb joined the Huskies after transferring from Chipola College as a sophomore. As a freshman, Cobb played at South Carolina before he was arrested for a string of BB-gun related incidents and marijuana possession.
The 6-foot-9 Jacksonville, Florida native missed part of this season with an ankle injury and is averaging 2.1 points and 3.2 rebounds per game in 11 appearances this season.
