After firing four assistant coaches earlier in the offseason, the UConn Huskies’ football’s staff will have another change going into next season as running backs coach Terry Richardson departs for the same position at Mississippi State. The Bulldogs are coached by former UConn offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead.
To fill the void on the staff, the Huskies promoted offensive quality control coach Mike Moyseenko. While he has only been on staff for one season, Moyseenko spent four seasons as a wide receivers coach at Towson.
“I am pleased to promote Mike to running backs coach,” Edsall said in a release.
