UConn football lost badly to Cincinnati, 49-7 on Saturday, falling to 1-4 on the year. Here’s how the Huskies’ upcoming opponents did over the weekend.
Memphis (3-2) - Oct. 6
The Tigers are now 0-2 in American Athletic Conference play after losing 40-24 to Tulane in uptown New Orleans. Memphis gained merely 277 yards and aside from a 75-yard scoring drive to begin the second half, didn’t have any substantial drives until the game was well out of hand.
For the Tigers Darrell Henderson led the way with 51 yards on the ground, getting most of those on a 47-yard touchdown run in the first half.
