After not playing for the past two weekends, UConn football interim head coach Lou Spanos’ changed up the depth chart a little for Saturday’s game vs the Clemson Tigers:
- Kevin Mensah has reclaimed the top running back spot with Nate Carter backing him up.
- After being off the two-deep, Christopher Fortin has replaced Sidney Walker as the starting center. Walker will back him up.
- After missing two games in COVID-19 protocols, Jay Rose is back as the starting tight end. Brandon Niemenski will be his backup.
- Dal’mont Gourdine and Marquayveon Evans switch back up spots at defensive tackle with Evans backing up Travis Jones and Gourdine backing up Lwal Uguak.
