One of the more exciting aspects of following a program in full rebuild mode (besides a series with Duke) is tracking the talent coming down the pipeline. Head Coach Randy Edsall gave UConn football fans something to look forward to last night, after landing his first two commits of the 2020 class.
On Monday, Florida natives Marques Alexander of St. Petersburg, Florida and Alfred Chea of Jacksonville both committed to UConn on Twitter within hours of each other. According to the Hartford Courant, both players visited campus this past weekend, and clearly came away with a lasting impression.
