Okay, so the 2018 season has wrapped up for the UConn football, and while expectations were modest heading in, this year’s Huskies managed to fall short of those. A 1-11 finish is not what anyone was hoping for, but Randy Edsall’s version of events paint the football program as a helpless entity when he took over.
The reality is that he’ll have plenty of time and a long leash to get this thing in the right direction, since UConn definitely can’t afford to fire him or deal with more turnover. So maybe blowing it all up and trying to build anew makes sense?
