UConn baseball’s breakout star of the 2021 season, Reggie Crawford, will get the chance to represent his country this summer after being selected to the USA Collegiate National Team roster on Wednesday.
Crawford will follow in the footsteps of recent UConn stars Anthony Kay, Tim Cate and Mason Feole, who played for the national team in 2015, 2016-17 and 2018, respectively.
UConn has seen quite a few talents make a pit stop with the Collegiate National Team on their way to the major leagues, including Matt Barnes and George Springer in 2011, Brian Esposito in 1999 and Charles Nagy in 1988.
