The Huskies get their third shutout of the season against the Knights, getting their fifth in a row in the process.
UConn Baseball dominated from start to finish on Sunday in the second-to-last weekend of the conference season. Wills Montgomerie (4-2) just three hits and the entire Husky pitching staff only allowed one runner to reach third base in the contest.
Montgomerie had a great start, going 6+ innings, only allowing the three hits with no runs, notching eight strikeouts and three walks. No one really hit him hard, either.
"I had more confidence," Montgomerie said.
