UConn alumnus Dan Padover will take over as the general manager of the Atlanta Dream after spending the previous three years in the same role with the Las Vegas Aces. He was recently named the WNBA Executive of the Year for a second straight season after the Aces finished second in the league.
A 2010 graduate of UConn, Padover spent the 2009-10 season as a student assistant to the director of basketball operations with the Huskies’ women’s basketball team. After that, he got a job as an assistant video coordinator with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2010 and then moved on to become the video coordinator for Rutgers women’s basketball in 2011.
