Two vehicles police say were involved in the weekend shooting of a 16-year-old in Hartford’s North End were found burned in Hartford and South Windsor, police said Thursday evening.
“Approximately 75 [shell] casings from different calibers, including rifle rounds, were recovered at that scene,” Major Crimes Division Lt. Aaron Boisvert said during a monthly public meeting to discuss crime statistics. “Two vehicles from that incident, an Acura TL and an Audi, were both recovered burned. The Audi was recovered in town and the Acura in South Windsor. There’s currently [search] warrants being drafted on both of those vehicles.
