On Wednesday, the American Athletic Conference released its men’s soccer all-conference honors in advance of the conference tournament, which commences on Friday. A total of six Huskies are on all-conference teams, including two on the first team.
Junior defender Jacob Hauser-Ramsey and forward Abdou Mbacke Thiam represent the Huskies on the first team this year, voted in as unanimous selections.
Hauser-Ramsey was part of the third-best defense in the conference, allowing 1.00 goals per game, including eight clean sheets. He was named the American defender of the week for two consecutive weeks on October 9 and 16.
