Two men were shot, one fatally, after an argument broke out in a Waterbury convenience store Sunday night.
The shots were fired at the store at 173 Willow St. shortly before 11 p.m., police said Monday. When officers arrived, they found a man lying on the floor with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was unconscious but breathing.
Medics helped him and took him to Waterbury Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to police. Detectives learned that the man was 45.
Police found a second wounded man lying on Ridgewood Street. That victim was shot in the abdomen and right arm, they said.
