A confrontation last month between a Trump flag-waving motorist and a Black Lives Matter protester in a busy Glastonbury intersection led to the driver getting a ticket, police said Thursday.
The Aug. 24th incident is one of a few that points to tensions between drivers and activists that have arisen from regular protests at one of the busiest intersections in town. Black in Glastonbury, or blackingbury, and Black Lives Matter 860 have been holding small protests at Main Street and Hebron Avenue every Sunday and Monday for months. On Monday, an activist was arrested after she refused to leave the intersection.
