Tropical Storm Isaias heads toward Connecticut, will hit Tuesday

Tropical Storm Isaias is expected to arrive in Connecticut Tuesday, bringing rain, possible flooding and strong winds that might spin off into a tornado.

The storm will do the most damage during a 6-hour period early Tuesday night, the National Weather Service said. Expect 1-3 inches of rain and flooding near streams and in poorly drained areas. Strong gusts may topple trees and power lines, causing outages.
