A woman who told police she was the aggressor in an Oct. 3 domestic clash with her boyfriend, a state trooper, was arrested Tuesday, Southington police said.

Mariah Harper, 41, was arrested on a warrant charging her with breach of peace, they said. She was released on a promise to appear in Superior Court in New Britain Wednesday.

The fight happened in the Southington home the couple shared after they had been at a wedding. Harper, who officers said appeared drunk, had bruising on her upper left arm, swollen knuckles, a bruised ring finger and a swollen eye afterward, according to a police report.
