Town of Vernon to vaccinate 600 residents, including 100-year-old woman, Saturday

The Town of Vernon plans to vaccinate nearly 600 people, including a 100-year-old woman, in their largest COVID-19 vaccination clinic Saturday.

A majority of the appointments, which will be at Vernon Senior Center from 7:30 a.m., to 5 p.m., are people receiving their second dose of the Moderna shot, the town said.

The 100-year-old Vernon resident is expected to get her second dose around 9 a.m., they said.

The Town of Vernon’s vaccination clinics, that serve Vernon, East Windsor, Somers, Stafford and Tolland residents, are appointment only.
