Three men were injured, one in “extremely critical condition,” after a shooting Thursday afternoon in the Fairhaven neighborhood, New Haven police said.
Officers responded to reports of a double shooting in the area of Lloyd and Exchange streets about 2:30 p.m., Capt. Anthony Duff said.
When they arrived, they found two victims, who were taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital with gunshot wounds. By late Thursday, one of the men was in critical condition, but the other’s condition had stabilized, he said. Both men were from New Haven and in their mid-30s.
About 9 p.m., another victim from the shooting, a 20-year-old man from Waterbury, arrived at the hospital in a private vehicle.
