The fourth edition of The Basketball Tournament will see four former men’s basketball players among the 64 teams.

The Basketball Tournament, a 64-team, winner-take-all, single elimination tournament that anyone can enter, will have four former UConn Men’s Basketball players among the teams vying for the $2 million dollar prize.

Josh Boone, who was drafted 23rd overall by the New Jersey Nets after playing for UConn from 2003-2006, will be playing another year on Talladega Knights alongside a pair of UMass alumni and Tyrone Nash, a former Notre Dame big man. They will be competing in the Northeast Region.

Jerome Dyson will be competing for The Citi Team out of the South Region. The guard who played at UConn from 2006-2010 and is currently playing in Israel will be joined by plenty of former Division 1 talent, such as former Memphis forward Antoine Anderson.
