UNCASVILLE — There are questions, so many questions with the 2015 Connecticut Sun. We do know this much now. Their young star will not play this season.
The announcement that 2014 WNBA rookie of the year Chiney Ogwumike is out for good this year came in a rather interesting fashion Friday night after the season-opening loss to the Washington Mystics at Mohegan Sun Arena. It was prompted by a question of how Ogwumike might be worked into a Sun lineup that coach Anne Donovan repeatedly said she liked and called a work in progress.
"It's a good time to talk about that," Donovan answered.
