UNCASVILLE — Connecticut Sun coach Anne Donovan, who spent two seasons as an assistant and head coach of the New York Liberty from 2009-10, said Wednesday that she did not agree with the hiring of Isiah Thomas as Liberty president.
"This is a decision, at least to me, comes out of left field," Donovan said. "Bring him back to MSG? OK. But how do you pin [Thomas] to the women's pro team?"
Thomas was embroiled in a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by former Knicks executive Anucha Browne Sanders and Madison Square Garden in 2007.
