A storm that is expected to start late Sunday afternoon and go overnight will likely only two or three inches of snow in the Hartford region.
The National Weather Service forecast Sunday called for as much four inches in the Litchfield Hills to possibly a rainy, slushy mix along the shoreline. The Hartford area should expect about two to three inches snow overnight just enough to cause a of “nuisance,” according to the weather service forecast.
Forecasters initially forecasted as much as five inches overnight for the Hartford area, but that changed in the past 12 hours, according to Gary Lessor, chief meteorologist at the Western Connecticut State University Weather Center.
