State police have arrested a Stafford man who they said repeatedly sexually assaulted two girls over a period of five years, when one was as young as 8.
William James Flint, 37, of Buckley Highway was arrested Tuesday at his home on 14 counts of first-degree sexual assault, two counts of risk of injury to a child and one count of second-degree unlawful restraint, state police said.
He was in custody at the Hartford Correctional Center on $100,000 bail after his arraignment, according to state records. His next court date is scheduled for July 1.
According to the arrest warrant affidavit, he had inappropriate contact with a girl he knew and had her perform sex acts on him when the girl’s caregiver wasn’t around.
