A South Windsor man was arrested Thursday after he used a racial slur on a Black woman who was taking pictures near his property, police said.
Police gave William N. Gainer, 85, of Troy Road a misdemeanor summons for breach of peace after the incident, which happened about 6 p.m., they said.
According to police, Gainer walked up to the woman, who was in her car taking pictures of train tracks, and accused her of parking on his lawn. While he was doing so, he used the “n” word, police said, and appeared as if he was about to punch her car.
