It may be mid-April, with temperatures at times reaching the 70s, but some people in Connecticut might see snow Friday, meteorologists said.
The northern part of Litchfield County might get some accumulating snow early Friday, and those at higher elevations in northern Hartford County may see some stick to grassy surfaces, said Bill Simpson, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
“Much-needed rain” is expected to start falling Wednesday evening and continue into Thursday, Simpson said. It will rain all day Thursday and into Thursday night, switching to snow in some spots by early Friday.
