Snow is coming Thursday. Here’s how much and when:

A winter storm watch will be in effect from 7 a.m. Wednesday to 7 p.m. Friday, the National Weather Service says, and “travel could be difficult.”

The snow will likely start falling in southern Connecticut late Thursday morning, roughly between 10 a.m. and noon, said Bryce Williams, a NWS meteorologist. The storm will probably arrive in Hartford and the northern part of the state early to mid-afternoon.
